I thought that I was a social animal. Anyone who talks to me, or should I say listens as I do enough talking for 4 people, would agree. Apparently though, I am not the social animal that I thought I was. After throwing a Taste of Home Entertaing party, hosting a view the game (ECU vs NCSU) event, scrapbooking, attending an open house at my children's school, and going to a Tupperware party over the last 8 days I find myself completely exhausted! And there is no end in sight! I am supposed to go shopping with a friend, cook for and attend a parents' mixer, go to Mass, take my children to orchestra, attend a Creative Memories party, take my son to a doctors appointment, handle costume and candy purchases for Halloween, give hundreds of pieces of candy to dozens of children, go out to an appreciation dinner with my husband and his co-workers, attend another parent mixer, go to bunco league (at the same time!), and attend a 3 hour Reconciliation retreat to be followed by a 3 hour birthday party for a four year old. This is just the next week! All that I want to do is go back to bed for at least that long! I am not the social animal that everyone thinks me to be. However, come January or February, when everyone in MN is hibernating, I'll probably be complaining that I haven't talked to anyone in so long that I'm going crazy!
