The Falcon's Nest

We have moved over 1300 miles away from our families and friends and I thought that this might be a great way to keep in touch!

My Grown Up Christmas Wish

Grown-up Christmas
by Michael Buble

Do you remember me?
I sat upon your knee
I wrote to you with childhood fantasies
Well, I'm all grown-up now
Can you still help somehow?
I'm not a child, but my heart still can dream
So here's my lifelong wish
My grown-up Christmas list
Not for myself, but for a world in need
No more lives torn apart
That wars would never start
And time would heal all hearts
Every man would have a friend
That right would always win
And love would never end
This is my grown-up Christmas list
What is this illusion
Called the innocence of youth?
Maybe only in that blind belief
Can we ever find the truth
No more lives torn apart
That wars would never start
And time would heal our hearts
Every man would have a friend
That right would always win
And love would never end
This is my grown-up Christmas list
This is my only lifelong wish
This is my grown-up Christmas list

Everyone in the Falcon's Nest wishes you and yours a joyous Christmas filled with the wonderment of childhood and the peace of Christ's love! And if you would like us to, we'll pray that you get some of our snow also! We love and miss all of you! Posted by Picasa

The grand stairway! I think that it needs lights but hubby doesn't agree. What do you think? Let's take an informal poll! Posted by Picasa

Roughly half of my Santa collection! Since I no longer have shelves to display them, they are going to have to go back into boxes after Christmas. Boo! Hoo! Posted by Picasa

Center. My grandma BB had a Christmas tree just like this when I was little and I always loved it. Christopher Radko produced this for Target in 2003 and by the time I went to buy one they were all gone. I bought this one last Christmas on Ebay. Posted by Picasa

Far right end of Santa display. I'll have to try taking some shots during the day, I just could not get this end to photograch well. Posted by Picasa

While we're in the living room, there is nothing like a forest green couch to display Santa pillows on, eh?! Posted by Picasa

The fireplace at night. Hopefully we'll get it up and running before spring! Posted by Picasa
