The Falcon's Nest

We have moved over 1300 miles away from our families and friends and I thought that this might be a great way to keep in touch!

October 12, 2005 I stayed up most of the night with Storm, but by morning he could not get up by himself. We made the decision to end his suffering and I took him into the vet that morning. My 'old man' was just so tired and weak that I knew we were making the right decision. It was still very hard to do. At about 8:30 am he slipped peacefully away to join his beloved sister, Rain. Posted by Picasa

Tuesday, October 11, 2005 After 5 hours in vet and vet specialists offices we found out that Storm had liver cancer that was inoperable and causing internal bleeding. His prognosis was two days to two weeks. We brought him home and gave the boys the news so that they would have a chance to spoil him some and say goodbye. Posted by Picasa
